Liam Gallagher has always been a pretty outspoken guy, so it should come as no surprise that the former Oasis frontman has launched a completely unprovoked attack on Radiohead’s new album The King Of Limbs. When asked about the disc—whose title was inspired by a 1,000-year-old tree in Wiltshire’s Saversnake Forest—Gallagher told The Quietus: “I heard that f*cking Radiohead record and I just go, ‘What?!’”
.
Strangely, Gallagher didn’t seem to have any complaints about the actual music but went on to say, ““I like to think that what we do, we do f*cking well. Them writing a song about a f*cking tree? Give me a f*cking break! A thousand year old tree? Go f*ck yourself! You’d have thought (Thom Yorke would) have written a song about a modern tree or one that was planted last week. You know what I mean?” Uh, sort of.

Coincidentally Gallagher’s latest project Beady Eye released their debut album Different Gear, Still Speeding today. No word on what Thom Yorke thinks of that album’s title but personally we think Beady Eye’s cover art is a way easier target.
