This is potentially the biggest, most life-altering news of the week: Justin Bieber has cut his hair. Yes, that’s right fans, the teen-pop icon has shed his beautiful locks. But before crying hysterically, you should know it was all done in the name of charity.

Whether or not you like Bieber’s new look, the good news it that you can buy the hair. Yes, you can actually buy his hair. Last night, Bieber tweeted, “yeah so it’s true…i got a lil haircut…i like it…and we are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction. Details coming soon.” Can we get a collective “ew”?

There’s no word on which charity will benefit from this haircut, but at least it’s for a good cause. Bieber also announced last night that a special director’s cut of his biopic, Never Say Never, will be heading into theaters for one week only. Biebs tweeted, “next weekend for ONE WEEKEND ONLY we are adding 40 minutes of NEW FOOTAGE to #NEVERSAYNEVER3D” in Theatres!! it is a different version from what is in theatres now….u can decide which one is better!”

The new version of the film, titled Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Director’s Fan Cut, will open Friday in the U.S. and Canada and run for one week only. Director Jon M. Chu said of the idea, “I realized I had an embarrassment of riches when I was in the cutting room.” New footage includes more of Justin’s friends and hometown life, new songs and performances and footage shot at premieres of the film around the country. The new film’s running time is 115 minutes.

So there you go. If you already miss Bieber’s signature haircut, you can go see it in theaters this weekend. Or just wait for his wax figure to appear at Madame Tussauds next month.
