We’ll admit that we’re not the best with scheduling, but we’ve got little sympathy for Frank Ocean for dropping out of 10 opening dates for Coldplay in addition to multiple European Festival dates over the weekend. If it’s any consolation, though, Ocean admits that he feels like an “a-hole” for the cancellation, although we’re not sure if that’s going to be enough to satisfy Chris Martin & Co.

.
“Let me start by saying I feel like an a–hole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casualties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour,” Ocean explained in a statement. “Sorry as f—, I’ll be back if you’ll have me.”
.
The cancelled dates include his appearances at the Flow Festival in Finland, Pukkelpop in Belgium, Britain’s V Festival as well as Rock En Seine festival in Paris and the Bestival on England’s Isle Of Wright this fall. Ocean wasn’t very forthcoming about why the dates were cancelled although he recently cut short an appearance at Norway’s Oye Festival four songs in due to vocal problems.
.
So what do you think of Ocean’s last-minute cancellation and do you think he had a good reason to skip the dates? Let us know in the comments section below as you listen to some Frank Ocean Radio.
