Despite his previous offerings, Josh Hutcherson is best known for his role as Peeta Mellark in The Hunger Games. While we await the next movie in the franchise, Catching Fire, we’ll be able to see Josh in another movie next summer. Well, sort of. He’s the voice behind Nod, one of the main characters in Beyonce’s upcoming animated feature, Epic. Today we get our first look at the film with the debut of the first trailer.

The story is about a girl named Mary Katherine (Amanda Seyfried) who is somehow transported into another world deep in a forest where she joins up with a ragtag group to save their world (and ours) from the evil forces found there. Now, we’re not sure exactly who the evil forces are yet, but there’s definitely an army and some royalty involved. Beyonce plays Queen Tara, which I would almost bet is the antagonist of the story, but we won’t know for sure until more info comes out about the movie.
