Rumors are floating around that new “X Factor” judge Britney Spears had a little issue during the first half of try-outs in Texas on Thursday …

She reportedly had a major diva moment and walked out of season two auditions because a contestant did a crap rendition of her song “Hold It Against Me” … reportedly “butchering” it … an incident Brit (and company) completely deny.
.
She allegedly missed four contestants’ auditions after this. We think it’s possible she just had to pee badly.
.
The “Femme Fatale” singer tweeted: “#Britneywalksoff‬??? LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!”
.

E! News’ Marc Malkin stood by Britney, tweeting, “‪#britneyspears‬ did not walk off the stage. nowhere near as dramatic as others r (sic) reporting.”
.
Simon Cowell later tweeted, “One of the best audition days we have ever done.”
.
Meantime … new co-judge Demi Lovato has been getting cheeky on the set …
.
She teased returning panel members Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid, saying that Simon was “old and impatient” after he pressed her to make a decision on a contestant and called him “grandpa” as they made their way into the Frank Erwin Center in Austin. (L.A. Reid teased on twitter, “Day 1 @TheXFactorUSA and I have already been cut to shreds by @ddlovato. Let the games begin!”)
.
Demi and Brit Brit were also reportedly clashing about one of the contestants …
.
In an audio leak obtained by the Hollywood Reporter, Britney compared the contestant’s voice to The Biebs’.
.
“I think you can be bigger than the next Justin Bieber,” Brit Brit says, as the crowd erupts into loud cheers.
.
Demi agreed … sort of. She complimented him on his great voice, but pointed out that he needed to find a way to stand out from his peers.
.
“I think that you have a great voice and your tone was great,” Demi starts off. “But, I don’t really know where you fit. I don’t know what’s going to set you apart from other musicians who are boys. So, I think you just have to find out what makes you special and what separates you from all the other teenage boys in this industry.”
.
“The X Factor” returns later this year on Fox. We’ll be watching and reporting and recapping all for your enjoyment.
