The big collaboration news this week is the fact that Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne have reunited for her track “High School,” which will be one of five new songs from her upcoming album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded — The Re-Up. If you thought Minaj was all glitter and pop these days, it’s refreshing to hear her get down and dirty with Weezy.

The other big collaboration headline from this week is that Rihanna and Chris Brown’s duet “Nobody’s Business” has leaked online. The track sees the Rihanna singing “It ain’t nobody’s business; just mine and my baby” on this Michael Jackson-inspired track. Let the backlash ensue.

Lisa Loeb has teamed up with New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert for a song that will be released on February 5th. In a press release she explained, “He’s a tattoo-ed up post-punk rocker and I’m known more as a singer/songwriter with glasses, which may seem like an unlikely pair, but it totally makes sense. He brought a whole new angle to my music and it was great to work with many of the musicians he works with down in Orange County (California).” Gilbert is a superfan, as you can hear by listening to the Loeb cover below.

Our final piece of collaboration news is Demi Lovato has shot down rumors that she’ll be working on a song with Miley Cyrus in the near future. “I think she’s pretty busy with her fiancé and other things,” Lovato told Stereotude. “I think she’s got bigger things to worry about. But I’ve always wanted to do a duet with her. I love her to death.”
