Carly Rae Jepsen is an international phenomenon who has amassed over 300 million views for the video of her single “Call Me Maybe.” Now, she’s getting retro as the star of her own 8-bit video game called Carly’s Interactive Diner and Mlik Bar.
.
The game takes place in Carlyville and players control her character, taking her through interactive story lines that see her chatting with the Diner’s employee, playing five of her songs on an interactive jukebox and visiting an outdoor drive-thru theatre to watch three of her music videos.
.
Our favorite part of the game thus far is playing along with the interactive jukebox, especially the part where we can see a digital image of a record spin as the song plays, which is pretty surreal. We also hear that the food at her interactive diner is pretty good and we plan on eating there soon.
