GOOD Music — Cruel Summer (GOOD/Def Jam, August 7th)

Kanye Wayne’s GOOD Music album will be titled Cruel Summer, which is the same title as the film he debuted at Cannes this year. The collaborative disc will feature West as well as Pusha-T, Frank Ocean, Jay Electronica, Big Sean and more. You can check out the video for G.O.O.D. Music’s “Mercy” below.

L.L. Cool J — TBA (Def Jam, TBA)

L.L. Cool J has announced that he’s working on an “authentic hip-hop album” using My Connect Studio, a recording system that allows artists to collaborate with each other on studio-quality recordings using the Internet. There is currently no release date scheduled for the rapper’s first new recordings since 2008’s Exit 13.
