A Skylit Drive robbed in Buffalo
Posted 11/22/2010

It seems as if A Skylit Drive are the latest victims of theft. Last night, at Xtreme Wheels in Buffalo, New York, the post-hardcore band were apparently robbed (possibly during their set) while on the road with All Those Sleeping, Motionless In White, Woe Is Me and Scarlett O’Hara.

The band’s frontman, Michael Jagmin, tweeted to his 6,000 followers, “We just got a lot of fucking money stolen from us at Xtreme Wheels in Buffalo, NY. If anyone knows who did it you’ll be rewarded,” adding, “Trust me if anyone knows you will get free admission to ASD shows for life.” Hopefully they still had enough money left after the show to get some of the Midwest’s finest Mexican food.

After the tweet, Jagmin got to more pressing issues writing,“The majority of the users on Absolutepunk.net are complete idiots. You sadly must greatly resemble Cartman in the WOW South Park episode,” since some haters on the board made light of the band’s situation (sadly we didn’t catch that episode so we don’t really understand the reference). Hopefully, in addition to facilitating trash talk, the Internet will help the group recover their lost money; A Skylit Drive’s Cameron Webb-produced third album Identity On Fire is due out in February.
