12 New ‘Magic Mike’ Clips Share More of the Story … And The Strippers
Posted 6/26/2012

By now you’ve probably seen just about everything Channing Tatum has to offer in preparation for this movie (literally). You already know he was a real stripper for a short period before he went into acting, albeit a fairly poor one. And now he’s reprising his role as a stripper in the upcoming film Magic Mike. But what you haven’t seen yet are these twelve new clips from Magic Mike showing a different side of the story. Don’t worry ladies, there’s still plenty of “sexy” in there, but these clips show some of the meat of the story (no pun intended).

In this first clip we see a backstage conversation taking place between David (Matthew McConaughey) and “Magic” Mike (Channing Tatum). They are looking for another act, and neither of them want to go back on the stage. So Mike puts Adam (Alex Pettyfer) on stage for the first time, telling him “you still owe me.”
.

.
Next, we get to see David giving Alex “The Kid” a pep talk, telling him what the women in the audience expect out of him. Apparently, his goal is to fulfill every woman’s fantasy. That’s a tall order, but he appears to be up for it.
.

.
We meet Brooke, played by Cody Horn, as she decides to have a talk with Adam about a box she found full of stripper stuff. He tells her it’s for work, but she thinks he’s gay.
.

.
Next we get to see a short conversation between Mike and Brooke, talking about Adam, who Mike is now taking under his wing to teach the ropes of being a male stripper.
.

.
You might be surprised at his answer when you hear Brooke and Mike talking about his dreams and what he would like to be doing if money were no object, and how much he’s managed to save up.
.

.
The next clip features a conversation between Mike and his business partner, Dallas (Matthew McConaughey). It looks like Dallas is raking in the dough while Mike is looking for equity for the time he’s investing in “The Kid.”
.

.
Taking a break from the strip show, we go to the beach, where we see Mike and Brooke talking about Adam. When she asks why he strips, he tells her it’s all about women, money and having a good time.
.

.
Okay ladies, now it’s time for the clips you’re really interested in. David explains to the audience what you can touch and what you can’t touch during the show. Of course, it’s all out the door because, as he says, there’s a lot of lawbreakers “out there.”
.

.
Simply “Fireman Dance,” this clip is exactly what you’ve been waiting for. Okay, maybe it stops short of what you’ll want to see at the theaters, but you’ll get plenty of action here (and by action, we mean male stripper action, of course).
.

.
David introduces the main attraction, Mr. Magic Mike. We see that Brooke is in the audience.
.

.
David introduces an act with five, yes count them, five male strippers with umbrellas performing a dance to the song It’s Raining Men, originally performed by The Weather Girls.
.

.
Another dance feature called “Shadow Dance,” one of the dancers pops out from behind a screen and comes to life for one lucky member of the audience.
.

.
Magic Mike opens June 29th, 2012.
