My overweight and miserable doggie was dx with food allergies. I have him on special diet and NO PEOPLE FOODS. He is doing so much better now. He is long haired chihuahua and was very overweight. His Vet put him on RX food of egg and rice. He and his brother went on same diet. It is measured and given to both twice daily. They ate it until Giovanni's rash went away... and was feeling comfortable again. Now, I feed them a special no grain food from Natural Choice.
